Featured Project
780' of 36 Inch HDPE placed on-grade in Solid Rock.
ClearPath Utility Solutions, LLC was contracted to place 780' of 36 Inch HDPE. The project consisted of installing a drain pipe from one containment pond to a newly constructed containment pond. The HDD project would drill though the peak of a hill with depths requiring wire line services to accurately maintain the proper grade. In-Rock was contracted to provide the wire line services. A 48 Inch hole opener was pulled on the final pass. Upon completion, a 24 Inch HDPE line was placed inside the 36 Inch line.
ClearPath completes parallel line crossing under I-70
ClearPath Utility Solutions, LLC was contracted to place parallel 24 Inch and 12 Inch pipelines on two seperate sites. The first site consisted of crossing I-70 with both the 24 Inch and 12 Inch lines. The Vermeer 220x330 and R9x12T reclaimer were utilized on this site. The second site consisted of crossing a secondary road with a challenging elevation change for the limited setup area. A Vermeer 100x120 and the Thunderstorm 2 reclaimer were utilized for this site.
ClearPath has completed a 1000’ Rock Bore in Morgantown, WV
ClearPath Utility Solutions was awarded a bore consisting of 1200’ of 12” steel through a wetlands area. Due to projects restraints and required training the project was bid “Sight Unseen”. The bore was to maintain 3’ of cover through the unstable soil conditions. To handle this proposed bore, ClearPath incorporated the use of a Vermeer 80x100 Series II. This would provide sufficient pullback force if a direct pull was deemed appropriate after completion of the pilot bore. Learn more...
ClearPath Utility Solutions was hired to fuse approximately 28,400 feet of 12” DIPS SDR 11 HDPE Pipe in Corning, OH
A McElroy 618 Roller and a 618 TracStar were incorporated for the project. The 618 Roller provided for quicker mobilization for some of the remote tie-in’s, while the 618 TracStar provided faster setup and alignment times.
While on site, ClearPath completed 11 bores ranging from 60’ to 260’ placing the 12” HDPE with 2 of the bores requiring 20” HDPE casing. On one occasion a 1,000’ section of the 12” HDPE was pulled through a 260’ bore utilizing a Vermeer 20x22. Learn more...
